I live in New England – a region with four distinct seasons. As a Steel Pannist, it’s hard to let go of Summer, since the end of warmth and sunshine can mean the end of the tourist, party, and Caribbean music season. There’s a certain beauty about the last sunset of the summer. As it sets, colors fade to memories. Memories fade into feelings that I can only express through music. This beautiful jazz ballad segues flawlessly into a bolero – the Latin ballad form.
